View Engagement on Pitches Sent to Prospects
A robust analytics module in PitchLink lets you view all engagement at an overview as well as detailed granular levels.
Analytics of engagement can be viewed for organizations to whom pitches have been sent. You can see who within the organization has viewed the pitches, and who hasn’t.
Analytics can only be viewed, however, if the buyer explicitly allows the sharing of their engagement data.
********************************************
Click Analytics
Organizations to whom pitches have been sent are listed.
Click and select the organization for which you wish to view data.
Pitches sent to the organization are listed.
Select the pitch for which you wish to view analytics data.
The relevant data appears on the right.
The participants in the pitch are listed in the left column.
Even participating sales team members are listed, and they are indicated with a team icon.
Data for every element used in the pitch is displayed.
The elements used are displayed in the top row, with indicative icons for each type of element used.
Here we can see that video, PowerPoint presentation, links, excel spreadsheet, and audio has been used in the pitch.
The number of times any element, has been viewed by any participant, is shown in the relevant tile.
As the number of views goes up, the shade of the tile deepens.
The row at the bottom is the total number of views for each element.
The column on the right is the total number of views by each participant.
This number indicates the total of engagement on this pitch as a whole.
The Date when the pitch was last viewed is also shown.
Note that such engagement data is not displayed for all participants.
This is because these participants have chosen NOT to share engagement data.
If there are any comments made by participants on any element, an icon indicates this.
Pitch-level comments appear in the first column.
When you click on a comment icon, you can see the comment.
If it is an audio comment, you can play and hear it.
If there are several comments made by the participant on any element, all of these can be seen.
If you click on the engagement button for any comment, you are taken to the engagement room in the pitch, where you can reply to the comment directly.
Note that the pitch opens in a fresh tab on your browser.
You can see that even for participants you have not shared engagement data, their comments do appear on the analytics page, since comments are meant for open engagement.
Amongst the three participants who have chosen not to share engagement data, the names of two do not appear in the list.
However, one name is displayed.
This is because this is the person to whom the pitch was sent to initially, and the name is known to the seller anyway.
Others may have been invited into the pitch.
For every participant, the last column indicates who has invited the person to participate in the pitch.
The Pitch Open status indicates whether the participant has opened the pitch at all.
A check mark indicates that the pitch has been opened.
The form submission status indicates that the discovery form has been submitted, if a green icon appears in the column.
If you click the green icon, the submitted form opens in a popup.
You can send the pitch to more participants, but only in the same organization.
Click Send Pitch.
Click Add Recipients.
You can now add recipients from your contacts, but only the names of people in this organization are available.
You can add a new contact, but the company name cannot be changed, since this pitch is unique to this organization, and contains all engagement between the seller and this specific prospect.
You can also resend the pitch to any of the participants, in case they are unable to access the original link sent to them.
Click the resend Pitch button for any participant.
Click resend pitch.
If you wish to share the unique link again, copy the link by clicking Copy Link.
You can now share the link with the participant through mail or other media.
To see engagement data on supporting documents, click the "Supporting Documents Analytics" button.
Supporting documents are listed under the respective folders they have been stored under.
Click a folder to access documents under it.
Engagement data and comments are shown in the same way as in the case of pitch elements.
To go back to the pitch engagement data, click "Pitch Analytics".
