How to Send a Follow-Up Pitch

All engagement on Pitches are functions that can be performed only by the Salesperson role.

**************************************************************

You may want to send a follow-up pitch to refine or modify your communication.
When you send a follow-up pitch, the original pitch is closed, so no further comments or communication on it is possible.
However, elements carried over into the follow-up pitch retain their earlier conversations.
For this process, make sure that you have the follow-up pitch created and ready to send out.

Click Engage.
Select the company to whom you wish to send the follow-up pitch.
Click the Follow-up button of the pitch to which you wish to send a follow-up pitch.
Select the new follow-up pitch from the drop-down.
You will have to add a mail through which you send the PitchLink.
You can select a mail draft that you can edit.
Click Send Pitch to send the Follow Up Pitch.
The new pitch is now shown in the engagement list, along with the name of the pitch for which it is a follow-up.
The status of the original pitch is now updated to closed.

How to Freeze a Pitch

You may want to freeze a pitch temporarily if you realize that there is no movement on it.
When you freeze a pitch, all access to it is blocked, and no one, including yourself, can view or access it.
It will have to be Unfrozen for access to resume.

Click Engage.
Select the company to whom the pitch you wish to freeze was sent.
Select the pitch.
The icon turns green, indicating that it is frozen.
To unfreeze a frozen pitch, simply click the green Freeze icon.
Once it turns grey, the pitch is unfrozen and can be accessed normally by all participants.

How to Close a Pitch

You may want to close a pitch that has transitioned to a closed deal.
When you close a pitch it can still be viewed, and is always available for reference and review, but no further commenting or communication on it is possible.

Click Engage.
Select the company to whom the pitch you wish to close was sent.
Click the close button of the pitch you wish to close.
Write a reason for closing the pitch.
Click Close Pitch.
The Pitch is now permanently closed.
