How the Buyer Views the Pitch and Engages with the Seller

Once you open a pitch, the first element of the pitch is displayed.
All elements used in the pitch are denoted in the lower panel, where they are numbered and arranged in the order that the sender of the pitch intended.
Viewed in that order, the presentation will tell a coherent story.
If the first element is an audio or a video, click the play button to play the item.
Once it plays out, the pitch moves on to the next element automatically.
You can also move to other elements of the pitch by clicking an icon from the bottom panel.
You can see the title of the file on mouse-over.
You can also move to the next or previous item in the pitch by clicking the right or left arrows.
You may want to communicate with the seller on any displayed element.
While a file or element is displayed, click the Chat button.
The associated Discussion room opens.
To send a message regarding the item is being viewed, type your message in the chat panel and click send.
You can also send audio or video messages in the discussion room.
The Seller will be able to respond to your message in the same discussion room.

You can also communicate securely with your own team members on PitchLink.
Simply toggle the switch to Chatting with my Own team.
You can now message your own team members who are participants in this pitch.
This discussion is absolutely secure, and your vendor will not have access to this at any point in time.
To discuss matters at the general pitch level rather than on any particular element, click the pitch icon.
You can now message the seller in the same manner, at the general level.
The seller may often add a discovery form to gather detailed information regarding the buyers needs and challenges, so that they may provide customized solutions.
To provide such information to the seller, click the form icon.
The form Opens.
The form loads automatically if the last element in the pitch flow is an audio or video file, after it has played.
You may now fill in the solicited information and submit the form if you wish.
Besides the main components of the narrative structure presented, the pitch may also contain Resource materials for further reference.
Click the resources button.
These may be organized under various folders to make it easy for you to explore them.

Again, these are denoted by icons in the bottom panel, and may be selected for viewing.
You can begin a conversation with the seller on any resource item as well.
Simply type your message in the chat panel while the item is being viewed, and click send.
The Seller will be able to respond in the same discussion space.

PitchLink provides additional controls to enhance your viewing experience, allow internal sharing, and control your privacy settings.

The Engagement Settings button opens options for your engagement on the pitch.
In the first tab, you can inform the seller that this pitch does not interest you.
You can inform the seller your reasons for not engaging with them.
This method enables the buyer to disengage politely, without any obligation.
Various reasons are provided, and you could add your own reason why the proposition is not suitable for you.
In the second tab, you can OPT OUT of the pitch.
This means you will not be directly engaging on the pitch.
However, you are not telling the seller that the pitch is not relevant, and other participating team members can continue to engage.
The pitch is also always available on your dashboard, and you can decide to opt in again, later.
In the third tab, you can set Pitch.Link to not send you any mail notifications of activities.
The default behaviour of Pitch.Link is to send mail notifications whenever there is any activity on the pitch, such as chat messages.
If you do not wish to receive these mails, toggle the switch to the Off Position.
The guide button opens a list of video guides like this one, and tours that help you navigate the interface, and engage with the pitch effectively.

The Logout button enables you to log out of your Pitch.link account.
