My password was sent to me in email, this is very unsecure and it should be encrypted

We send this password only one time during the user account registration process. We apply one way encryption for storing the password which means it can never be decrypted. Moreover this is a standard practice adopted by most SaaS servics. However if you have a better idea we are happy to listen to your suggestions.
